It has been a crazy, busy summer. We stepped away from blogging to focus on our real estate business and the podcast, and it’s good to be back. Summer isn’t quite over, but with school back in session, we’re starting to feel the slow progression into an eventual fall. We just ordered new calendars for 2020, and it’s crazy to think it’s almost here.
The listings we’ve had this summer have been some of the most unique we’ve ever had. From cute starter homes to custom designs on large lots, we love what our clients have done. One of our favorites right now is actually two properties that are adjacent to each other. They are located in Hampshire, TN, which is about 45 minutes outside of Nashville. They really are the definition of a retreat. Although they have a cabin-feel, the rustic-ness doesn’t overwhelm you. There’s also 26+ acres with one property, and it’s filled with walking trails that are perfect for hiking. We know the future owners will never want to leave.
And then there’s the podcast. Starting the podcast has been an incredible yet challenging experience. Season One was wrapped with a total of fifteen episodes. There were so many cool interviews, it’s hard to choose a favorite. Speaking to the owner of the Factory at Columbia was the most unique. Darrell Lynn has been very successful in business, and he’s bringing that to Columbia. The space is going to be one of the coolest in town. Also, the best part was how willing the guests were to participate in this pet project. They brought personal experiences, life lessons, and great business resources. Season Two is already being recorded, and the guests are just as diverse as Season One. There will be a few differences, but the overall theme of experience sharing will remain.
We’ve also been busy checking out the cool events in Columbia and Nashville. We attended the 20th Ragin’ Cajun Crawfish Boil hosted by the Nashville Junior Chamber in April. Even though it rained, the live music, downtown backdrop, and all-you-can-eat crawfish was amazing. First Fridays in Columbia have also been another staple for us. It’s always great to see everyone, enjoy dinner on the square, and visit all the local businesses. Buck & Board is a new favorite (the sangria is perfect for summer, and the food is so fresh), but we’ve spent several dinners at Puckett’s – which always delivers.
As fall quickly approaches, good things are coming for Town & Country Realtors. We had two new agents join the firm this summer. Additionally, there’s another project that we’ve been working on for several months now. You’ll know it when you see it – and we’ll be sharing it on social media and on the blog. We are very grateful to work for the owners, Jim and Nancy Rash, and we love where 2019 has taken us. Stay tuned☺
